Yorkshire’s JE James Cycles have opened the latest dedicated Haibike cycling zone at the retailer’s Rotherham store.
The 180 sq ft zone includes models from the Haibike MTB and trekking range, including the award-winning electric mountain bikes featuring intelligent e:i suspension and Bosch motor systems.
Mark Goldthorp, Raleigh UK Managing Director said: “We’ve seen tremendous growth for Haibike since we introduced the brand into the UK and now, through retailer partnerships, we’re able to offer attractive in-store solutions. With the excitement behind Haibike now is the perfect time for retailers to attract UK customers and introduce them into the world of Haibike.”
Haibike’s in-store zone ‘template’ was customised by the JE James Cycles team who added a TV unit playing Haibike’s engaging video content and a bespoke app for iPads.
Adam Simmonite, Marketing and PR for JE James Cycles said: “Haibike is creating a lot of interest in our stores and this dedicated area is a great way to highlight the emerging area of performance electric bikes.
“We run a fleet of seven Haibike hire bikes in store to allow customers to try out the range on their local trails. Haibike is one of the brands that is part of the store’s performance demo fleet of bikes, which we are hiring out on-line in 2015.
“All the staff in the company can see the immense potential of e bikes to open up mountain biking to new markets. We think the Haibike range offers great value and performance and with improvements in spec and geometry in the 2015 range it looks like they are going to be creating a buzz.”
